November 6, Awards Presentation U.S. Constitution Essay Contest

The Awards Presentation Luncheon provides a great opportunity for us to show our support for Constitution Education in Solano Co. and the efforts and accomplishments of our local students (grades 10-12), as they strive to better understand and articulate our founding principles. It further shows our support for their families, teachers, and schools that encourage these important endeavors That's a good thing!

Essay Info: 

This year’s topic: “How does our U.S. Constitution help each of us secure ‘Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness’ amidst the censorship and cancel culture in today’s world? 

Students were asked to define censorship and cancel culture and cite examples. Explain what the dangers of censorship and cancel culture are to a free society.

Cite why censorship is historically associated with totalitarianism.  And then, How does the Constitution help us overcome cancel culture and censorship?


The Luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:30 am -1:30 pm at the Benicia Grill, 2390 N. Texas St., Fairfield.
